IP SLA Example “3560”

The following is an IP SLA (RTR) which was setup after a complaint on network performance. The three tests were used to verify the overall RTT from the edge site to the data centre. In addition to this the test verifies the response of DNS requests against the domain controller and attempts to obtain a web page measuring the time to resolve the name, connect and get the page. The configuration text verifies from appliance to appliance or IOS version.
